Happy May Day!
What is May Day you may ask? Well the wise ol' Mr. Wikipedia has this to say about the Holiday:
“May Day is related to the
Celtic festival of Beltane and the Germanic festival of Walpurgis Night. May
Day falls half a year from November 1st – another cross quarter day
which is also associated with various northern European paganisms. It has
traditionally been an occasion for popular and often raucous celebrations.”
But Reggie has this to say about May Day:
I don't know about you but an epic sale is much more of a reason for raucous celebrations than some boring old May Pole.
